Just an idea for 3reef

I'd personally say if you want to judge based on a stat if someone knows what their doing look at their post count more than karma since it isn't always given when you give advice

 

Well call me crazy but aren't the posts and karma already shown? Couldn't a person just do the math on their own?

 

How about showing how many times a member has received karma from other members. The karma an individual gives is 1% of the karma they have at the time they give karma.

but please make an exception in my case

most of my karma has come via www.syphonkarma.com

karma given is 1% but sometimes this leaves odd numbers and this site allows those odd numbers to be syphoned into my karma account

Psssh ignore karma Negative karma is very rarely given out on 3reef, so most people's karma has no where to go but up. I'd look more to see how long the member has been on the site and how long they've had an aquarium.

But then again, why judge a book by its cover? You never really know who you are dealing with behind the mask of karma and post counts. Unless they've been on 3reef a while. We get to know each other's knowledge and experience level after a while...

EDIT: Or better yet, if you want to know about someone through their karma, look at what they've been given karma for, and who gave it to them.
