    Hello all,

Picked up a JBJ 12g standard tank from a friend of mine who had put it in storage roughly 6months ago...When I got it in my possesion I noticed somethings missing/broken, mainly hood, assembly and pump (ie everything). Since this was the standard model, and I was planing on upgrading the lighting anyway, I inquired on the cost of the upgrades/replacement parts at my local shop.

About 30 mins later and a quality conversation on the topic of first time reef keepers I walked out of the store not with the replacement parts I needed, but a brand new red sea max 34g system.

I am getting the water, rock, and sand tommorrow and then the waiting game of cycling. (I am a patient man, but I snatch up things that I want)

Anyway, figured I would introduce myself before I reliase the amount of money I spent today...

    Sincerely,
    Newb;D

just got the live rock in, and the sand (went black, it should give a good contrast for color). Cycling now. Pics coming soon, will probably put them in another part of this forum though.
