Excited to get it and try it out. Got the skimmer with in tank cup for $99 shipped. Selling my old reef octopus on ebay and ill get atleast $60 plus shipping for that. but yeah will be interesting to see what this tiny skimmer can do but it will be nice to have such a small skimmer in the tank, plus its in tank to. My old one was a HOB and took up the whole back side of my hex.

tunzes are great skimmers. but that 9002 is only rated for a 25 - 50 gallons. 25 high bio load... 50 low bio load. i think thats a bit small for 65 gallons. if you haven't used it sent it back for the 9005

when buying a skimmer its a good idea to always double what water volume you have. i had the 9002 on my tank it was to small for my bio load and i sold it. it couldn't keep up.

bio load is low, I think it will be fine and I honestly don't know the exact size of my tank its anywhere from 50-65 gal. Plus ive been running it skimmer-less with no water changes for awhile. So once I clean it up again and install the skimmer I think it will be fine. Im also prob gonna buy one of these at some point and run GFO in it: Current USA SubCurrent Internal Filter w/ Pump

but like you said worse case if it can't keep up ill just sell it and buy the bigger one.

tunze sells a very similar filter, you might want to look at that. they connect to the skimmer i believe. might look a little neater in your tank

if you find as i did the 9002 is not enough, they sell fast since they are one of the best nano skimmers out there.

I'm very interested to read your review on the skimmer. I've seen people buying these on other forums as well.

There is no good reason to double your volume just for the fun of it when getting a skimmer. Not picking on you, just sayi'n.
