Just can not find the right skimmer :(

    Got it setup in my little sump...barely fit...haha. The build quality seems great, the packaging was awesome, and it is DEAD silent. If it skims as well for me as it has for others, I dont know how you can beat it for $200.

    You can see where I set the water level, do you think that is the best spot for break in?

    cant tell from image, but normally skimmers operate best in water between 8 and 10 inches deep

    The water in my skimmer section is 9". I am hoping this is the sweet spot :)

    I guess by water level, I was referring to the height of the bubbles. I adjusted the bubble level to that height thinking it need to break in and when it does, did not want an overflow. This is my first skimmer.
