Ive been having some coral problems so i figured the sump would be a good place to start. Cleaned out the detris, got rid of the filter sock that i am terrible at cleaning i also cleaned the skimmer from top to bottom. Went with a different brand of carbon since kents recall. Im also gonna try red sea reef foundation abc plus and n03 p04-x.. i didnt really like pellets. And i got my first top off. Its a dual float from autotoppoff.com because there were to many good reviews. Its hooked up to a aqua lifter.. oh i also added a four inch sand bed to the fuge section because my display only has about an inch.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
All that before 6 am, impressive.

Seriously though that is a lot of maintenance.

What problems have you been having with your corals?

Congrats on the ATO that makes a tank much more stable.

Haha I did it last night :) posted pics this morning. My old tank i had t5s and korilias everything flourished from zoas to sps. I upgraded from a 56 to a 50 got reef breeders leds, two mp10s, and a reef keeper lite.. I thought my growth would explode.. Quite the opposite.. Nothing is growing, I had an alk swing which pretty much wiped out my sps that was already doing crappy minus my Montis they are doing well. Zoas look good but are growing slow, lps are fine. I'm hoping it was my inconsistent top offs and 7 dkh that was causing it. Nitrites and trates show zero but I can't imagine my filter socks were good for the tank
