Hello everyone, I'm coming to you from Vancouver Island in British Columbia, I'm a 22 year old male who likes sport bikes, scuba diving, snowboarding and of course reefing' coral reefing that is. I have had many tanks before and I started with fresh water and switched to marine about five years ago. My current set-up is only 5 months old and is a 50 gal custom corner reef tank. I look foward to the insight and good reading I will benifit from on this fourm.

Hi, glad you showed up. Am not far - ferry to PA then down to Silverdale (by Bremerton) - See you are on the Island, not in the city. Number of members from BC that link up now and then. PM Jason McKenzie for details.

Got a good LFS up there? - if not, best in Washington state here (maybe anywhere) - may be worth ferry ticket - State Tax only 8% here.

Thanks. I love taking pics of the tank but I have a crappy camera and it seems to take a lot of out of focus shots I can't wait to get a really good one but I'm still researching cameras to find the best one for my applications.

Welcome! That is an awsome looking tank, if I had known better way back when, I would have bought either a corner 55-60 or a cube...55 tall...not so great.

My second tank was a 55gal tall it did not last long before it became a 90gal in-wall, lol this hobby is a money pit for sure but I still love it. When I moved out to Vancouver Island and sold my in-wall I was aiming to start a nano but I decided to go with the 50 gal cusom corner insted I really like it, the only flaw is the lack of space under it for a sump the stand only has a 1ft by 1ft space.
