hi guys i just found some little hydroids i think... theyre tiny... like the size of a pen tip... brown and hair like tentacles.. brown with a green mouth... looks like a type of tube worm but pretty sure theyre hydroids? does this sound right?

my question is how did they enter my tank... they're around a piece of monti spondode i just got from a local reefer in a trade... did they likely come in on the frag? why didnt dipping kill it?

I already pulled the rock i saw them on... just want to make sure i dont get anymore or let these spread... there was 4-5 little colonies of 10 or so each on this rock i pulled... what is my next move?
