Peanutsings here, but my real name is Donna. Right now I am setting up my 55 gal. reef tank again after 9 years and I am loving it. The technology is so sophisticated compared to when I began that it is mind boggling - but I appreciate the progress.

Upstairs in the living room is my little Aqua Medic nanowave 9 with a huge toadstool leather, a large live rock covered with green star polyps, a fragment of neon yellow star polyps, a small pinkish bubble coral, a frag of hydnophora with several small branches, one blue mushroom anemone, a few tiny frags of different color zoanthids, a scooter blenny and a lawnmower blenny, two small false perculas, a nasty damsel that happens to be beautiful, a medium sized rock with button polyps, a sweet spotted starfish, a turbo snail, a few little snails - will have to look up their name and live sand.

Three months ago I bought the whole used tank and most of the animals together and the tank has been wonderful. I watch it carefully and am beginning a journal to note the progress. The large corals and a couple of fish will go into the 55 gal after it has cycled and I am happy with its parameters.

Looking at others' tanks and reading of their experiences has made my re-entry into the marine reef world so easy. Thank you all and blessings.;D

Welcome home Donna. Once the "bug" bites, its for life. You should start a build/progress thread as mentioned. That way, you'll see from your humble beginings to a full blown reef tank. Some pics of what you have now would be great too.;D

Woohoo yay aquamedic club! I'm glad some of those fish will be moved over...it seems kind of full in there. :)
