I bought a coral today. however it has been the tank for about 5hrs and the sz of it is like half the sz it was at the store. Is it because of the water too hot or too cold? right now is about 78.1 Also some of them went big and then went back to be very small again.

a pic would be helpful, but lots of times corals will close up for a bit after being transferred to a new tank. My first zoa's stayed closed overnight but were fine the next day.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The are both large polyp corals, lps.

First is a Euphyllia, could be a frogspawn.

    Second is a bubble coral.

Yes it is normal for them to retract when acclimating.

Also i noticed it gets smaller when i changed to blue LED. Should i just turn it off...or just do white LED? How long should i leave it on?

most people do a combo of blue and white..blue on first then white..white off first then blue off(fake sunrise sunset)..they will vlose some with just the blue as the white is much brighter..you could leave them on anywhere fron 6-10 hrs but most usually do 6-8 ish..really depends on your schedule to view your tank
