Just got a good deal on a duncan polyp

I just got 8 giant green duncan polyp heads for 60$! I am happy with myself. We went to our supplier to get ro water but it was too good of a deal to pass up. It is doing fine so far and is the most beautiful thing in the tank so far I will post pics soon

yea online they are around 25$ a head

 

its very beautiful but is it also rare? that would explain the price online

 

Not sure on this but I think that there are several kinds of duncan's, the ones online may be a rarer species or they may just be more to account for shipping. I got my duncan about a month ago, 1 head, so far it has sprouted like 5 smaller heads on the base, its growing out of control!!

 

My duncans aren't doing great.... what flow and tank placement do you recommend??

Nice score, where's the pics? I wouldn't say duncans are all that rare. I got a nice 5 head from Reef Empire a while ago for $30. There are a few color varieties out there, some more expensive than others. Live Aquaria has some really nice and bright greens ones I'm thinking about getting some day.
