    can anyone help?! it's been 2 days and they seem like they are still not being "acclimated" to the 10 gal tank, but there's only 2 of them in there! when i put my hand in the tank to love live rock they run in fear! =/

    i would test your tank and make shure theres no ammonia and are they breathing really fast? and if not then they should be fine and wait like 2 weeks and see how they are then.

    they seem like they are breathing fast, but i don't really know how fast they normally breathe... i've tested with API's Saltwater Master kit and there doesn't seem that there's no ammonia.. no nitrates and no nitrites as well...

    pH around 8.0
    salinity 1.026

    i'm stumped... i don't want to lose my first 2 fish!

    How close in comparison are the colors to below 8.0 pH? Are you convincing yourself that it is atleast 8?

    What is the "twitch thing"? I am looking to put a couple of clowns in my tank.

    it can be debatable... but i'm pretty sure its at least 7.8-8.0.... is there a problem you think?

    i've read that the twitch thing is normal... they seem that they have a connection since they are always with each other.... i think that it's a sign of attraction

    Yes, there could be the answer to your problem. The acidic water could be "burning".
