I just bought a pump that can actually get the water from my closet to my tank!!!! i was so happy to see that it can get it up there with no struggle. It was only $65. its called a Laguna Statuary Pump 3. Its 384 GPH. http://www.pet-dog-cat-supply-store.com/shop/index.php?page=shop-flypage-6837 This thing is a monster. Thank you whoever told me i could get this at petsmart for 65. You were right!!! Now all i need to do is get an overflow

Eshopps Overflow Box PF-300 for Aquarium Reef Tanks NIB - eBay (item 350147945286 end time May-31-09 17:05:54 PDT)

This is the one i was looking at and i was wondering if 300 GPH is big enough or too big. Is this a quality overflow? please tell me your opinions about the pump and the overflow. So excited!

im glad that pump worked out for you. i knew a 150 dollars sounded like to much just to get the job done.
that overflow looks ok to me, im sure the head loss will make the pump below 300 gph, if not you can always put a valve on the return

hopefully that overflow box wont be too loud(nvr heard of it before), if you want to get a nicer one i recommend a cpr Google Image Result for http://www.aquacave.com/images/Overflow%20Box%20CS90%201.jpg
pharmerjohn has them, you can talk to him about them
