I finally got a new tank. Upgrading from a 55 to a 110 drilled. Finally got everything to put it all together. But I have recently gotten byropsis In my current tank and I dont start off with this tank fighting this crap. Since I'm gonna be tearing down my old tank basically is there a way to keep it out of the new one. I thought of bleaching my rocks and throwing away the sand and water. But would that cause the tank to have to cycle again. Or I could try raising mag levels and then transfer when I have gotten rid of it. Any suggestions

Would an algae scrubber do anything to bryopsis?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would look into using Kent Tech Magnesium to treat the byropsis.

There are several threads on this forum about it's use and effectiveness in treating byropsis successfully.

Below is also and excellent thread on a nudibranch that eats byropsis.

If it were my tank I would be absolutely sure the byropsis has been eradicated prior to moving any rocks or corals into the new tank.
