It's an Air Water and Ice compact 75 gpd reefkeeper. It had everything with it. The guy had a crash and said he just needed a break.

Buying a used RO or RO/DI may not be the deal you think it is. Often the filters and membrane are in need of replacement and the replacement costs plus the initial purchase price exceed the cost of a new system. For example a new Spectrapure system can be had for $130 complete. If you add up your $50, a new membrane at $35-$40, mateched flow restrictor at $5-$10,sediment filter at $8-$12, carbon block at $10-$15, DI refill or cartridge at $8-$25 and a pressure gauge which your system probably did not come with but is extremely important you find you have $150 or so invested and have not made a drop of water.

Use your TDS meter to determine the RO membrane and DI conditions before using any of the RO/DI wate rin your reef to make sure you are good to go. I usually find someone sells a RO/DI system when it needs maintanance and you inherit someone elses problem. Water is not something you ant to skimp on.

I thought about all that and I asked how old the filters and membranes were and he assured me they were 3 months old and I tested everything g and it was perfect! Also came with a pressure gage

Good deal. Always check the TDS from the filters and the color of the resin. otherwise, a cheap used buy aint so good.
