Well I just got back from diving off the barrier reef in mexico and central america. I have to say I have a whole new appericiation for reef keeping and have talked to the wife about totally redesigning our tank or buing a larger one. We have the 220 now but the stuff I saw was amazing! The coral reef was mind blowing. I must have said 50 swear words when I dove down to40 ft in cozamel when we went into the caverns. I have taken some pictures on a film camer and am awaiting the development and getting them on disc so ill share but wow. We have decided as the year goes on we will redo the tank and possibly be doing a much larger tank. The boat we were on realized we knew what we were looking at and took us to a better place and wow. Anyway I had to boast about it. I had a new guy come by from the lfs I do alot of buisness with watch my tank and had great luck. Straight across the boards it was great. Had to let it out. Thanks

My brother just got back from there as well. He bought a underwater digital camera just for the trip. I will try to upload pics as well when I get them.

Glad you had a good time. Me and my wife have been diving in Cozamel. Will be nice to see your pics.

Hope you left the swine flu down there. You are a brave soul to be going to Mexico right now.

I was there a couple of years ago but did not dive - we were told the reefs were still covered in sand from hurricanes Emily and Wilma (2005). Glad to hear they bounced back...
Dove in Grand Cayman instead ;)

Yeah, nothing beats the real thing. Not tyring to sound corny or anything, but makes you really appreciate how amazing nature is.

20,000 people die yearly from the regular flu in the united states alone. Swine flu "pandemic" has the same death toll as falling coconuts.* ;D

*It is often claimed 150 people die by falling coconuts, often when being compared with shark attack deaths. However there is no data to back up that claim.
