    well it was an impulse buy but it was worth it i think. either this or birdsnest. this looked cooler. it looks like SPS but they told mer it was and LPS. kinda confusing. i know i shouldnt impulse buy, but come on its beautiful!

    BTW- my grandma got me this for helping her setup her freshwater tank.:cheesy:

    i hadnt either. i really like it. i want an lps sps dominant tank now. zoanthids are cool but sps and lps just take the cake for beauty!

    Agree'd i just dont have the light to house SPS atm but in love in SPS tanks

    t-5 could do like birdsnest. i know a guy who keeps them under PC lights.

    Cool impulse buy, be very careful about placement of other corals around it. They are very aggressive and potent.

    yea they told me that. i trust the guys there. really knowledgeable guys, and very nice. cant wait till they get my mantis lol

    I love hydnophora. Just make sure you provide proper spacing between it and other corals. They are VERY aggressive. In fact, in mixed reefs (not advisable), I used Hydno frags to control the growth of softies. They would kill any softy that came too close.

    wow! they warned me it was potent, so good for them. so is it infact an lps?

    Nope...SPS
