Just got lion fish last night

ARGH! I hate Time Warner!!!!!! I still can't really see it.

That fish is in really bad shape. It's had a poor diet for quite some time. I bet it's seen it's share of bad water. It's swim bladder is all messed up, that's why it can't get up off the bottom.

So the things wrong with it are split fins, emaciated, dull colour, can't swim properly, not eating and gilling hard. I don't think that fish would survive treatment.

What did it look like at the fish store?

 

yep not as extreme as ive seen other fish when they are dying tho

 

How long have you had him?

 

i thought it looked ok he was tryn to jump outta the bag when we got him even puntured the bag at the store so they double bag em i might have to have a talk with them if i ever go back i know better than to buy stuff from petco but my lfs arent any better there tanks look worse actually ive had pretty good luck with past stuff from them but idk they claimed it was eating 4 fish a day plus a little of frozen foods im getting tired of wasting money in the hobby lol i wish there was one guy i could trust to get me quality stuff but there isnt around here

Do they have a guarantee of sorts? Local store, right? EDIT: Oh Petco.....sorry :-(

yea i just found it on its side wont make it till morning i guarentee it im going to call them tommorow and see if they will do anything they prolly have no guarentee just like all these stores around here dont

 

Ya sorry, I've never seen a lion come back from that.... that's long term mistreatment you're looking at there.

 

will that fish release any toxins into my tank i have it in? when it does pass tonight
