Hi Everybody! I just got me self a 4 Head Duncan and already think its the coolest coral I have after I saw the way it reacted to when I put some phyto in the tank close to it. Is there anything special I need to know other than they grow well when fed which I do anyway with my corals?

This is only a couple hours after I brought em home so they may not of been open all the way.

they are a cool coral. I got one with 2 polyps last year and I have had to frag it already and both pieces have about 13 polyps on it a piece.

Target feed it and will grow like a weed!

I bought a Duncan a few months ago and put on the lower end of the tank in a pocket hole. I noticed this past week that it has tripled. What a beautiful coral. Thank you god.:)

Nice duncans. I bought 3 heads a few weeks ago and they do in fact grow quick if you feed them regularly. I alrady have 8 heads.

I usually target feeds my coral rods while feeding the fish. The coral get fed and the fish are able to get to the food anyway. Would rods be fine? I also dose phyto. I got a pretty decent deal on these. at 10$ a head plus a 25% discount (30 yr aniv sale at LFS). It was in a nano display there and since he couldnt get me any, he sold me this one. I did put it up high and under metal halide, 2 175w over a 55. I think I will be moving them, it jus happened to be a great spot, fit nice and in the direct middle of the tank, but I dont want to shock it so I will move it down and slowly make its way up.
