    The first 24 hours

    Some Pics after 24 hours.. I put some filter pads in the AquaC to trap microbubbles, and it worked well. My corals polyps are extended more than I have ever seen before. My fish are happy as hell. Here's some pics of the skimmer breakin in, and what to expect in the first 24 hours. prepare for noise, unless you put a rag over the intake, and micro bubbles unless you have filter pads you can cut to size.

    I have the cup at bout half right now too. When I woke this morning there was about 1/2" of dark green S#!& at the bottom so it is starting to work 8)

    Yea I did and according to the directions it said to route back to the tank until it breaks in but because its already pulling green gunk I have it routed to an overflow bucket. Don't know if it was worth getting IMO.

    Yeah, I spend a lot of time with my tank. I don't skimp on maintenance

    I got it more for the "in case of an overflow" because I had an issue with my prizm overflowing once - was not pretty and was a good thing I was home to catch it :eek:
