Here is the Crocea Clam I got for only 23 dollars.

Question since it anchored here in this pic (I think) does it mean that it likes this spot? Thanks.

Here is the hammer coral I got for 41 dollars. Will the tentacles get a lot longer or is this as long as they will get? Should I push the bottom part of the hammer father into the sand?

Some Zoas I got, the pink ones only have like 4 heads out of like 70 that have opened. Is this normal for Zoas?

And finally comes this mystery coral that I didn't order and I have no idea what it is?!

I don't think the clam has had enough time to fully anchor yet. But yes, if it does anchor in one spot then that's a great sign. Mine took a few days before it finally settled down. The Hammer will open more in time. I just got a frogspawn, same family, and it's taken about a week now and it's still opening a little bit more each day. Zoas also need a little time to open up. You just got everything today so give it some time.

You took the words out of my mouth lol :)

I wouldn't push the hammer any deeper, you don't want to damage the flesh.

Thanks guys! You were both very helpful! Glad to hear that my clam likes the spot he is in.

Wow. great new additions. Like others said, just give them some time to settle in. As for the mystery coral, I have no idea. In a couple days, it should open fully and then you'd be able to identify it;)

    Alrighty thanks!

Should I try feeding the hammer? If so how often and what is the best thing to feed it for maximum growth?

I feed my frogspawn mysis shrimp at night, when my moonlights are on just about every week. They seem to like that a lot.

So I should feed at night? Does it matter between night and day?

It doesn't matter. I feed my Frog Spawn at noon when I feed the fish.
