I just got a 5 stage ro/di from bulk reef supply, I decided to go with them because I also picked up the 2 part solution kit. Can't wait to get this thing hooked up! good bye to filling water at the local grocery store.:)

remember to waste the first few gallons of water if you didn't buy an optional flush valve.

Lowes has a nice little ro/di -5 stage- for $125. I'm poking around with the idea of picking one up today too. Now that I got my MH and using my somewhat non "pure" water is gonna be really critical now.

It all depends where you live. My scumbucket friends have only 5 to 7 TDS coming out of the tap and they just deionize their water.

They don't have fluoride and chlorine in the water? 5-7 is hard to believe.

    DI resins handle this

To add insult to injury, if they live closeby, they can go to the Seattle Aquarium and get NSW that has been filtered, UV sterilized, and Ozonated for like 10 cents a gallon
