i just purchased the same ro/di 5 stage from bulk reef, and it is great i love it. that thing is solid too(pretty heavy). i also got a december deal were i got free replacement filters and resin ,and also the float valve.

i get 1 tds from the membrane, and 0 final. ive made alot of water so far and my resin has not even began to change yet.

i also have a lil lower psi and it still runs smooth.

same here so far 1 going in 0 coming out. My psi is a little low also about 42psi. When I first started it the red line popped off and blew water all over the kitchen..lol. pushed the line back in no problems now.

Here in NY, I have 72-78 coming out of the tap. I thought that was bad until I started reading some of the numbers everyone else in the country had, like 250-400.

Still sticking with my ro/di though.

Good call, since mostly all water runs through copper piping! Which is toxic to inverts....

Not trying to hijack but How hard are these to install? I rent a house and want to install one for water changes but want to be able to remove it if I decide to move. Also don't want the landlord to ding me. Thoughts?

Completely simple to install, nothing that can't be changed, just use a Y instead of actually tapping a hard line. Meaning where your washer hooks up put a y there and add the RODI to it. It may come with a needle tap, that you can basically make a hole in any water line, but landlord may not be to happy with that.

Wow thanks. I only have a 24gallon Nano but want to do weekly water changes so thought this would really be a huge benefit. I will start my research on a good unit to purchase. Thanks.

make sure it has something along the lines of 4-5 stages and it's both RO and DI...totally worth it.
