    Hey everyone,
I went to my local fish store looking for a current aqua pod
the 24 gal one w/MH. I called them before I went out there and the
girl told me that they had the tank I wanted for $299. I was thrilled !!
I was going to order the aqua pod24 off the internet but figured I should
check out the local area first. So I get out there the next day, I ask for
the tank and they told me they anly had the 14 and the 24 but they were
the ones with the PC lighting I asked for the MH one. Well anyway I looked around thinking I wasn't going to buy7 anything and low and behold
I saw the SALONA setup, So I check out the price and the package was
$668 whick I thought was pritty cheep because the online prices are like $799 - $899. this store puts a receipt on there package deals and the tank was priced at $268 , stand $195, lighting $$250.
I didn't like the lighting it was PC and the bulbs were round ? round ?
    come on !!!
So I looked for a MH pendant the coralife pendants were $450 and $380
so I asked for a ballist it was $199 and the pendant the store uses
    a aqua medic was $150..
Well to make a long story longer I got them to give it all to me for
    $550 Tank, ballist, pendant ...
Now Iam in search of a stand..
Does anyone have any good ideas on a stand that would be lioke $50 bucks..Its 20" X 20" height not too important mabee 20x20x35 ...
    no higher than 40"
I was thinking about buying a end table from value city furniture for like
$60 bucks it looks like it could handle the weight..

    seeya,
    howie

You definetly want to get a stand designed for a fish tank due to the weight. I wouldnt skimp there, its one of those things you dont want to be cheap on! 24 Gallons of water, sand, fish, rock, etc would be one hell of a mess to clean up to save a few bucks!

    stand

Yeh I think your right !!
I've been ddoing some thinking and I am going to look at
the salona stand one moor time. The other stands don't
come in the 20x20 size. except for the custom builders.
