I think it was a tiger pistols shrimp, water finished cycling 4 days ago, and kept reading constant triple 0.

So I added my nemo that was in temporary tank, and bought yellow watchman and a pistol shrimp.

I noticed pistol shrimp already dug a place, but my yellow watchmen is like little away from the pistol shrimp in different rock, while pistol shrimp is digging.

Do you think those 2 will meet soon and pair? Or am I just wishing for a luck

2: Also can I add fire shrimp and cleaner shrimp with pistol shrimp in there? I hear they are pretty safe, but one of my friends 6 line wrasse was messing with pistol shrimp and got him self killed.
    Is this common?

If your tank just cycled 4 days ago, I'd go a little slow adding live stock.. As for the pistol shrimp & goby, there is NO guarantee that the shrimp won't kill & eat the goby. It could take a few weeks to a month until they are comfortable with each other.. Even at that, if the pistol gets ticked & can still kill the goby. I have seen this happen a few times with friends of mine.

The pistol will dig the heck out of your tank.. Make sure that your LR is secure. I have seen landscaping crumble do to the little bulldozer.

yeah i been preparing for pistol shrimp when I setted up my 2nd tank, also for a jawfish later. I placed eggcrate first, so the heavy rock works dont damadge the glass, and after eggcrate, put in sand, then the rock works. So I was pretty prepared for the diggers.

My Tiger Pistol is a mean SOB, he killed 3 pep Shrimps. He also snaps at everything in the tank except the yellow watchmen. They are never apart. I would watch putting other shrimp in with him.

I got a YWG about 3-4 weeks ago. I got a pistol shrimp last week. The shrimp is about an inch long. After putting him in the tank he went and found a little cave in the rock and has a nice tunnel system in it. I know the two have seen each other during feeding but have not paired up yet. Hopefully it will be soon!

I have had a YWG with a tiger pistol for a little over a year now. They have paired and it is awesome to see them interact. I would be very careful with what i add to that tank if i were you. Maybe it is just my little guy, but the tiger shrimp has feasted on quite a bit of expensive snacks over the last year. A couple wrasses, snails, cleaner shrimp, hermits, etc.. He also loves collecting everything and hiding it in his borrow, including a number of nice frags!!! All in all it is really cool to see him and the YWG "play" but if i could get him out, i would!!! ;) I have also heard from others that they have no problems. Let us know what kind of little guy you end up with!!!
