Just got the call.....tank is in! (update/pics)

I will picking up my 40 breeder tonight. Sooooo pumped right now! Let the build begin.

 

cool man congrats..i might be getting me a 60 gallon cube today and i am pumped and dont even know if im getting it..crazy hobby..

but cant wait to tag along for the build..what you gonna do for lighting??

 

Right now I am planning on a 4 or 6 bulb T5. May upgrade to LED's later.

 

Just a small update. I purchased two cans of Pacific blue spray paint tonight and some painters tape for the back of the tank. I should have pics of the tank, painted, scaped and on the stand tomorow. I called my LFS (who carries Marineland) and they can get me a good deal on a package. A 36" 4 bulb T5 and the Super 65 skimmer. Anyone know anything about the Marineland T5 fixtures? I know the skimmer is pretty good.

Finished. I love the look of the Pacific blue. Not to light or to dark.







All this salwater stuff is hard work. I needed something to drink!

The tank is painted and on the stand. I have the scape done. What do ya'll think? Still have a lot of work to do. I am deciding on sand this week (prob. Carib Sea reefflor special grade). Some pics of the completed scape:
