I get the hypodermic needles from a feed store that sells animal vaccinations. Make sure your cleanly shaven and nicely dressed so you don't get the third degree. Last time my 26 year old son, gotee, went in they wanted to make sure he wasn't a druggy!

Matt, I got a bunch of hypos from my old LFS job if you need one (funny how you never ask me 1st when you need something). LOL about what you just said Craig, we'd always give the 3rd degree. I think that really the only customers whom were able to obtain the hypos from us, I was friends with all ready!!!

does the mutric acid not hurt anything else? i'd think if it went into the water itd affect corals, and doesnt the dieing of the aipstasia poison the water such as other anemones do when they die.

p.s. thanks to everyone for all the great advice, in Fish Die Corals lives, my tank is already doing much better!

I've used the Muriatic Acid for two years without ant negative effects to anything but the aiptaisia. It kills and dissolves them on contact but dissaptes rapidly at that 50% - 50% dillution. So far so very good.
