just made my first little bit of money with this hobby

I didn't get it. I ended up spending my cash Zoas and food. He has a decent sized one for $50 though that I'll be back for.

 

I trade frags and cheato to my lfs all the time. I rarely 'spend' any money there.

I often trade 6 packs of good beer for frags, etc. to local reefers.

And gosh darn it, my RBTA hasn't split in over a year, and has never split yet!
I'm going to start feeding it more!

 

I feed mine 5 days a week typically, just a small amount of Mysis and it splits once every month/2 months.

 

What do you feed your fish and do target feed your nems reef?

I occasionally give them a small cod treat (once every couple weeks) but otherwise they catch food chunks i feed my fish

 

It it's healthy, that is a great price!

 

Swiss, the tank is small, 14 gallons, I feed the sole fish (royal gramma) Mysis, krill, predator mix, and flakes. I spot feed the gorgonia with Coral frenzy (LOVE this stuff). I spot feed my Duncan frag, Sun coral colony and frags, flower anemone and maxi mini anemone Mysis and squid when I feed the RBTA.

Its heavy feeding but I have a very nice eshopps nano skimmer and do water changes weekly. Coincidently I see crazy growth. My sun coral is putting out new heads almost daily (currently ~60 heads), Duncan frag head has double in size since I found under a rock (lol). RBTA splits once it gets to 4", which I suspect is because I stop feeding it around 4" and I believe this makes it split. And my gorgonia are shooting up new branches like crazy, so far 1 branch a week or so.
