it no doubt will. the chaeto is the main reason it is down so low. when I got it, it was the size of a baseball. I just removed a little less than half and got the store credit for it. so that stuff is worth it.

Kind of off topic..but how much flow do you have on yours? Mine gets very little, but I have read that if you shake the junk off it every now and then it won't matter.

Mine is in the center chamber of my sump. so my overflow drains into the first chamber with my skimmer, then into my fuge, then into my return chamber. I honestly do not know how many GPH my return pump is. I dont think it is much more than 300-400GPH. So overall the flow in my sump is kinda slow. it seems to work for me. And yes I do kinda turn it over by hand. does help to keep it growing and clean.

Okay..that's the same setup I have in my sump..the water just kind of flows over the fuge and into the return chamber though..I'll keep an eye on it..thanks!

lol, well I have always got fast and accurate responses from everyone in here. So your all the best.

Are there any lower light Lps or Sps I might have luck with? right now I just have some zoo's, xenia, kenya tree, and a few Shrooms. Looking to add a small piece or two.

What lights do you have? I kept many different LPS under PC's for a while. Fox coral is a lower light LPS and one of my favorite.

you'll be fine with just about everything then. I believe there are some SPS that won't thrive under t-5's, but other than that you can have almost anything.
