I told Mr. Del Prete that I heard of his product here, at 3 Reef from Craig. He said, oh yeah, that guy in Reno ;D ;D

He also said this is a real nice set up (Matt) with very nice people here!!!

Marine Environment 2 Part Salt in bag....it also comes with a little bottle of supplement that needs to be added, but the bottle was very nondescript so I did not take a photo...

Sigh...that almost makes me want to start a new tank....almost :) I've never heard of this product before and I'm wondering why. Got any info on it that I could read?

    ***sigh***

Well, it's sortof a long, some say biased, story...but....

    Here is the link

    http://www.aquacraft.net/index.html

Scroll down on the right hand column, you will see "S-15" report...check it out.

It is supposed to be the closest to natural sea water that you can get. They use special procedures and equipment that is supposed to be superior to other manufacturers..

They also have quality control...they number code all their bags of salt, and they also retain samples of each code at their facility, so if there ever is a problem (which to my knowledge, there never has been) they can check the batches and perhaps recall if necessary.
They are the only manufacturer of marine salt to do so.

Craig here on this forum uses it and you would think he gets commission ;D in his fervor to recommend it..so I checked it out.

It mixed nicely, no smell, no stains, no residue, .... ;D ;D

This is the first time I am using it....being I had seen IO and Oceanic problems listed here...and they make most of the salts available to me now at the LFS, I thought I would try it out.

Oh yeah, the 2 part.....I believe, the dry mix has all the major ions....and the little bottle of liquid it comes with holds the minor ions (all trace elements..) ;)
