    I have a catalina light too. Its a 6x54 48" t5 fixture over a 55 gallon tank. I like it a lot it doesn't get too hot. I did replace the bulbs with geissman and uvl bulbs. I thought the same thing about the reflectors but they are really nice though lol

    Ok i got some pics today, they are mounted on the tank and i didnt have time to get some nice gut pics of it.

    Yes i have made some changes to the tank such as new aquascaping, and i replaced the Rena's stock spray bar and intake tube with a custom made PVC one. FLow has increased alot as the old tubing was very thin and got kinks, i upped it from a 1/2 ID tube to a 5/8id. With a thickness difference of about 1/4" so no more kinks.

    Thanks for the review. I ordered a 48" with 2x250 halides, 4x54 T-5's and moonlights. I will post when I get mine.
