Just picked one up to try out on my 30 gallon cube I just set up..... Currently have a Kessil A150 sky blue but didn't like the fact that it was just on/off.... Then trying to figure out a moonlight was proving to be a challenge since it's an open top tank. So my LFS was having a store wide 20% off sale so I figured why not... I Like the fact it has a built in controller, customizable settings ,adjustable tank mounting bracket and super slim design. LFS was also having a 30% on all livestock so picked up a couple naked ocellaris clowns and a green bubble tip anemone... Bta is about 20" directly below the light so curious as to long term health under this light.

Current makes some nice fixtures. What are the specs on this one, out of curiosity.

This is from their website... Just measure and sand bed is 16" from fixture to sandbed so PAR should be a little higher at the bottom then what pic shows. Not real impressed with wattage but not looking to raise any sps or super light demanding corals , however I do plan on keeping my anemone long term and adding one of my RBTA from my other tank once they split again. I still have my Kessil mounted on the tank but not running right now to see how bta does... Only been in for 2 days but looks good so far, I'll post back over the next few days with some updates.
I must say I love how minimal it is and how much controllability it has with the built in controller and remote... So far $100 well spent.

Are you planning to use this thread as a progress report/review? If so, then I'm subscribing. I've been considering that very same fixture for my 20L softie tank. :)

Yeah I can certainly do that. I'll post some tank shots and fixture shots a little bit later.

Paly/zoa rock from my other tank, figured id add another test subject. Trying to remove some mushrooms and throw them in but haven't had much luck removing them from thier rock... Have a Kenya tree branch I threw in yesterday too but it hasn't anchored itself yet..

So far I've left it on preset #3 12 hr full intensity .. Blues turn on at 8 am whites at 830 am and blues shut off at 8pm white shut of at 730 pm sunrise/sunset is 15 minute per event each channel and moon lights are on from 8pm to 12 am . tank is dark from 12am to 8am..... Haven't messed with any of the programs yet although I'll probably tweak this over time .

No doubt about the numbers being pretty low, Im really trying to stay positive on this light but im open(and prepared) to the fact that it may not sustain what I want and worse case Ill turn it into a fuge light on my 57g. Hell maybe the lightning effect helps Chaeto grow really fast.. at $100 bucks I figured it was worth a shot... on a FOWLR nano I would say this light would rock!
