I know the woman from current when she introduced the fixture in September. Its only good for softies and certain LPS. If you want to do more you would have to buy 2 of them and place them on the tank. I do like the controller.

I think your nem and polyps look pretty good, so far. Also, your tank is a bit deeper than mine. Judging from the chart, acros would be out of the question, but that's not a problem. Would like to see a FTS if possible. :D

Looks good IMO. Appears to be plenty bright enough, too.

Thanks. Just waiting for some results. I'll snap another photo of the nem tomorrow for day 5 update... Nem hasn't moved from where I placed it yet.

Yeah I thought about buying 2, but then I'm at $200 for 2 fixtures which puts it in the price point of some other nice fixtures. Controller is sweet! Hands down the best part of the set up

Its not designed for SPS corals, but is more than sufficient for softies and LPS.

OP- Looks like a great light for Fowlr or a softie reef. The anemone should be fine, you often see them kept in worse lighting conditions anyway. It can always "walk" higher up in the tank as need be.

May consider this light(2 rather) for my 45 gallon (fowlr-softie) once I get a stand since its cheap and effective

    +1

Also, I'm a bit curious about heat, since the fixture has no fans. Does it tend to get warm? I'm aware that LEDs won't heat the tank, but heat will degrade the unit's performance over time, and with only 1/4w diodes, you really can't afford the loss.

It hasn't moved since I placed it so I'm taking that as good sign so far but my RBTA in my 57g stayed put for a month before it wandered so I know it still may.

I went back to my LFS tonight and realized that they misprinted the price on my light so I ended up getting a better deal then I thought.. I've seen them online for 159.99 for my light which is the 18-24" model so at 2 fixtures you'd be over $300, which puts it in the price range of some pretty nice fixtures.
