    Hi,

After a long hiatus of buying new coral/fish, I finally got the itch again and bought three favia frags, an acan frag, a candy cane frag, and a plate coral.

Now for each I was just wanted to know expected growth rate with my T-5 set up, spot feeding every other day, and when I should feed each. As in night or day.

    Thanks.

    Acan - Night or Day

    Favia - Night or Day

Candy Cane - Night or Day

    Plate - Night or Day

I'll post pics tomorrow lights are off now.

Ive feed some of those night time and some day, Whenever I plan on feeding if I see their tentacles out I normally give them something to eat.

Acan growth was fast once I started feeding squid.

    Favias are kinda slow growing.

Candycanes grow quickly once they start. Took mine about 2 months before they started growing.

I haven't been able to keep plates alive long enough to know how quickly they grow.

Regardless of your setup, spot feeding will help the corals grow faster. However, I wouldnt' feed everyother day. Try 1-2 a week. That will allow the corals to digest, get rid of waste and will keep your water cleaner.

I feed coral about 1x month. Some like my dendro I feed more often. But the ones you listed are in my 1x a month list.
