and jesus the difference is crazy... the rock i got is so clean and awesome looking. But my rock is all covered in green algae. Can i take some water from my tank put it in a bucket and scrub the rock till somewhat cleaner? would i hurt the coraline algae thats already on it? here are some pic's

The first 2 rocks are the new fiji and the other 2 are from my tank...LOOK at the difference.

Scrub away, you may kill some coraline but it will regrow. This is one of the reasons I prefer base rock verse live rock.

Do you have a clean-up crew? How long has your tank been running? What is your light cycle?

Sounds like it is going through another cycle to be honest. You could either let it all cycle through or
    1) slowly remove the rock (maybe 5-10 lbs at a time)
    2) scrub it with an unused scrub brush
    3) place it back in the tank
    4) wait about 5 days for bacteria to grow on the rock again
    5) repeat till all rock is clean
