It's definitely a fun thing to do. it's also cool to have professional fighters like Mike Lee and Seth Petruzelli teaching you :p And my athsma has slowly started going away. Now to get rid of some of this extra weight that won't go away no matter what I do

Congrats! I remember starting lifting years and years ago. 185 seemed impossible let alone the cool 225 with the 4 45's.

Step by step it goes! Then 315 seemed impossible... Then 405!

It was quite a bit of dedication to get my bench above 400 for my body - I stay in the 300 range now. But now I'm focusing on standing overhead presses! Lol

Haha, I was just working out right now. I've done P90X twice, but I didn't eat nearly enough!! I eat lots now. I used to be a fat kid, but you'd NEVER know it if you saw me today. The damage is done though, even though it was back in the mid 90's I was fat...4th through 7th grade.

Does P90X work well? I may try it.

Sorry to hear that. I was the same way. I've since grown taller and slimmed up a little bit, but I'm still working on losing some more weight. I hate having a slow metabolism

Yeah, I guess it works. I didn't eat enough for p90x so I didn't get much results. I workout on my own with a bowflex, but I use some p90x forms. I have a very fast metabolism now. As a kid, I ate nothing but junk :( but since 7th grade I've been eating so healthy. That was back in 1997. I like p90x, but it can get boring. Do you eat breakfast? And do you run?

I just need to eat better and that would help a lot haha but doing p90x you need to eat a lot of fruit and protein and good foods haha. It burns canaries like no other. If dont consume enough just wears you out and get sickly skinny lol not really but definetly gotta eat a lot to keep up with it. We did it for a few months then I started second shift and trying to get back into it. Not having anyone else to do it with kinda sucks. But I heard the insanity work out is a lot better and you don't need all the free weights and extra stuff just a big open room.

P90x kicked my..... I did it for a few months. Got super strong and felt really good. Yes doing it by yourself sucks. I stopped after 3 months because I started working a lot and didn't have 60-90 minutes to do a work out 7 days a week. It's a New Years resolution of mine to do it, and complete 90 days. I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting results fast. I know I did and it was awesome. I didn't eat like I was suppose to and I still got good results.
