    Would it be a good idea to have a protein bar/ protein shake in a few hours right before I work out?

    Anabolic window:
    Caffeine(pre(before) workout supplement) 30 mins before workout. Caffeine study's show it promotes muscle growth.

    Whey protein(fast digesting protein) within 30 minutes post(after) workout.

    Casein protein (slow desolving, feeds muscles all night)before bed.

    Drink and eat 2hrs before workout. Have a protein shake now with lunch!

    Supplements I currently take:
    Hydroxy cut hardcore elite(morning)
    Bsn branch chain amino acids(during workout)
    Protein powder(post workout)
    Bsn NO xplode 2.0(pre workout)
    Gnc mega men's multi (morning)
    Omega creatine(post workout)

    Only stuff I would really recommend as doing something would be caffeine, creatine, protein and bcaa's, fish oil, multi vitamin.

    I also forgot to mention that I also take amino acids when I work out. It's not that I want to lose weight. I just want to build muscle and burn fat. I'd really like to set up a weight set at my house.

    Hydroxy cut is a weight loss pill, just wanted to lean out a bit, havent noticed anything except more energy because it is just a ton of caffeine.

    Branch chain amino acids help with muscle fatige/recovery

    Protein powder helps build muscle

    Bsn NO xplode 2.0 is an energy drink basically(studys show caffeine promotes muscle growth!)

    Gnc mega men's multi vitamin because everyone needs their vitamins!

    creatine increases the amount of stored energy in your muscles. This in turn increases your strength and intensity of your workout. And helps you bulk up fast! Have deff seen gains since i started using this in both size and strength.

    I wouldn't worry about your weight, unless your obese. Just eat clean, and lift daily if you can! And you will loose the weight over time. But never hit the same muscle groups 2 days in a row.

    I'm not obese, but I am a little bit over weight. One of the coaches at the gym that has been helping me out with losing weight said for me to lose about 10-15 pounds, even 20 if possible, which would bring me to 175. I'm also about 6' tall. I'll continue to watch my diet and work out :)
