They all sound really helpful. I could probably invest some of my money into getting this kind of stuff for working out.

Bodybuilding.com has competitive prices, and ships really fast. And you can read real reviews and see peoples profiles that use the stuff.

I workout every other day. Day 1 chest. Day 2 rest and run, Day 3 arms and shoulders. Day 4 rest and run, Day 5 back and legs. Days 6 & 7 rest. I should look into how I can gain more muscle faster. It helps that I'm finally eatin a lot more. for years I've been working out and seeing little to zero results. But for a few months now I'm eating more and seeing growth.

The biggest advice I have is just to keep at it. It's fun to get caught up in all the supplements and going hardcore, I have done that off and on, but what really matters is just getting in there over a long period. I know so many people that have such great gains but 2 or 3 years later never hit the gym again. Even if you go for 10 min and do 3 sets of a lift it's better than nothing. Over the 10+ years I have been lifting it's amazing what a change my body has made. Not only with muscle, but with heavy weights your bones get denser along with tendons and ligaments getting stronger. I have taken a few months off here and there, but it's amazing what long term lifting does to your body.

Here is a 635lb deadlift a few years ago. I am not that strong now, it took quite a bit of training to get me in that range, and I don't wish to spend my time on it now, a 400lb deadlift is good enough for me these days:

Woah that's crazy! Yea most important supplement is your diet! Eat big get big! And train consistently! I never really dead lift. Gotta start that. Legs are my weakest point. I think I've put up 320ish in deadlift at most.

How tall are you Toallhisdoom? When I was working out a lot (looooong time ago!), my buddy could always out do me in the press, but I would kill him in curls. I'm 6'-4" and have almost a 7' wingspan. He was 5'-8". I had a lot farther to travel up.

I am 6' 200lbs. I hate seeing short guys with little short arms that press like a beast! Must be hard to travel 4inches...... lolol

I have used the critical bench program before, you have to pay a bit, but they give you a workout that I think is great. I already did something close to it, but it was nice to have something planned out with the weights to do and you work to a final bench over the program based on where you are now. I have looked back on it a few times over the years and adjust the weights accordingly. Not sure if they still offer it, was just a pdf. I think they just sell bundles now, I can't vouch for those. But the info is out there it was just handy.

I feel you there! I am 6' too but have a 80" armspan with short legs, haha. The big upperbody with longer arms isn't great for bench, but that combo rocks for deadlifts!

I just tell myself that if I am benching 400 and so is that 5'5" guy that I am stronger because I have to move the bar so much more! LOL
