    You throw away the filter socks?! I wash mine and they come out brand new.

    well my wife make them for me and I honestly don't trust washing them so I just use brand new every time. I just recently started using socks though.

    You know what!?!? I appreciate it guys. My tank is still very young and I'm still in the "cyano must grow here for no apparent reason because water quality is stellar" phase. I can get it to go away for a bit and it comes right back but my corals, if I do say so myself, look amazing. Colors are great, growth is good and fish seem very healthy and happy. I have absolutely no phosphate (detectable), no nitrate, nothing and it's still getting me spun up. Here are a few more shots:

    Well you did a good job cleaning before you took this pics. Because I didn't see one trace of cyano. I really like the side shot. Your corals look great and your photography skills are not to shabby. I like all the pics. A heck of a lot better than all my iPhone shots on my thread.
