    I scored again!!!

This guy I know is moving and sold me all of his liverock, hermits, snails and a A.Ocellaris clown and a purple firefish for $100.

There was 58lbs of fiji liverock!!! He told me there was 20-30lbs, but when I was carrying it out, I knew they damn sure didnt weigh like 20-30lbs. Nor did it look like it. It filled up that same tub I used to carry that other liverock I got that was 52lbs, and it filled it up more plus its smaller pieces with a couple of show pieces.

lol I have all the rock in a stock tank currently, so pics wouldnt do it justice, I have the fish in a QT with no lights at the moment. I still have the corals floating.

Ha! I left that out, I also got corals in the deal. a bunch of green star polyps, some kind of pocilapora, zoanthids, shrooms and more. It was a 29g fully stocked, but had only 2 fish.

Remember that some rock is more porous than others, so the rock filling more of the bucket than the amount of rock you had before may not be a good determinating factor of the amount/weight!
Awesome find at any rate...save your money for the lights though! LOL8)

CR, its just as porous as the rest, its just smaller pieces, less gaps in the tub.

I got plenty of lights, too much IMO, the light on the QT was turned off, duh!

If I dont find them, nobody else will....

This came from the pres of the LRC, hes moving and stuff, and I was first on his list to ask if I wanted his tank. He wanted $200 for the whole setup. I didnt have room for it, and I told him I'd take the livestock. Its easier to sell a tank empty, then full of saltwater in a mostly freshwater town.
