How or where can I put up some new pics

 

1. Use Photobucket to submit IMG code
2. Attach files (must be under 200KB I belive?)
3. Use Picture button (yellow square with mountain and circle)
4. Read 3reef Howto
5. Use Photo Tools in right side menu to change pics/make them smaller

 

I myself like to post my images on my tank thread. This way people get a feel or understanding of your tank. Some people follow others threads more closely. For instance I know you just go corals from vivid so I will probably check the corals progress more often if I see them contained in your thread.

When you have a tank thread and post the images there it makes for a nice visual progression of your tank for both you and other members.

You would be surprised at how you can keep track of others members tank. You know their equipment, their corals, issues they are having with their tanks or inhabitants. Basically it's just a good way to share and exchange ideas, in my opinion.

 

Yeah I should of had a build thread. But mine got built in one day. Oh well. There are also a couple of mushrooms in there but didn't take pics

 

You do not need a build thread just a tank thread. A lot of us already had running systems when we started here. Plus tanks are always evolving. You get new lights, bigger skimmer, change scape. Check out members 2in10, or one of your fearless leaders Steve Wright, Sps take over, tank thread. Zoanthids21's thread, evolved's thread, JJL these might give you an idea of how you might want your tank thread.

I have only set up a tank since joining 3 reef
simply so that I could have a thread that did show a tank from the start

instead of my "Look at this one I made earlier" thread
