Just wanted to say hello...

I've been checking out the forum for awhile so I thought I'd register and at least introduce myself. I'm new to the saltwater aquarium world though I have had freshwater tanks in college. However, my brother isn't. He's been running a 46 gallon reef aquarium for about 4 or 5 years now. It's been sitting in his basement for at least 3 of those years and we just moved it into my work office about a month ago. There was only a coral banded rock shrimp, a few turbos, some bumble bees, and a black and white clown when we moved it, so we've slowly been building up stock now. It has about 40-50 lbs live rock, 4 inches for live sand, a canister filtration system with a build in protein skimmer and I just added a Koralia turbo pump for better current. (sorry, I don't know all the acronyms yet ) Since the move we've added 3 more turbo snails, 7 nassarius snails, a firefish gobie, 2 damsels, 1 spotted mandarin gobie, 1 yellow headed sleeper gobie, 1 spotted cardinal fish, 2 emerald crabs, 1 blue starfish, 1 leather soft coral, and an anemone. I've been checking all the levels regularly and everything has been running perfect.

I'll try to post some pick in the future. I'm hoping to get some feather dusters soon. I need to beef up my sand sifting crew as well. Well, that's me for now.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I'm really enjoying it. Though, I tend to get distracted by it pretty easily at work. Probably spend about half my day just sitting and stairing at it.
