just wanted to say hi

I have been on 3reef for a couple of months now but haven't ever fully introduced myself. So I thought I would take a second and do so. I have two tanks one a 35 gallon freshwater that I have had for 5 years.

The other tank is a 7 gallon that I have in my office. Until recently it was a fowlr but decided to upgrade the light and add some coral. I purchased a current usa nove extreme T5HO 18'' two weeks ago. I have one small zoa frag that has about 25 polyps on it. I got a xenia frag yesterday, not sure what kind of xenia though. If anyone knows let me know. I only have one clownfish and a cuc of 4 crabs and 2 nasarious snails. I have about 17 lbs of LR. I also use a canister filter cannot remember which brand.

I have learned a ton of information on here and everyone seems to be willing to help each other out. Thanks for helping me so far.

Any thoughts or suggestions on the setup, or possible addition of more coral would be appreciated.

nice set up - other corals you could consider under the 2 x t5 lights would be
green star polyps
shroom colonies
ricordia shrooms
other zoanthid colours
clove polyps
even small frags of leather corals and toadstools would be ok in there for a while, until they outgrow it

Welcome to 3reef. That looks like a pulsating zenia you have there but I've never had zenia's so I could be wrong. A good friend of mine has them and it looks similar.

tank at the office sounds like fun but i would get no work done. except on the tank. i bet it would be prestine. lol
