so I drilled my sump today to plumb in the dart pump that I got. Everything went smooth with the drill no problems there, I bring it up put it in place, secure the bulkhead glue all the fittings, even leak test and all looks good right!!!!!!! well wrong, I go to move the tank just a bit back not even an 1/8 of an inch and all of the sudden the worst sound and sight that we all hate to see and hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a 10 inch crack from the bulkhead all the way to the top of the tank!!!!:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: oh well just when you think your finished and in the clear... tomorrow its time to take a trip down to the pet store to buy another tank for a sump!

    Night guys...

well thankfully my wife went down to the pets store and picked up one, I Will be drilling it tonight and trying again, I am going to be drilling a little higher up then the last time, I will be posting pics as soon as I start the project. I think if I raise the hole about 1/4 of inch I will not have the same problems as the last time. but I will be measuring again before I drill

Drill it high enough so you can put a mouse pad or other sound and vibration dampening material under the pump. Also try and keep the pump suction as short and straight as possible, no bends, fittings or elevation changes other than maybe a ball valve for maintenance.
