    FWIW, I had an almost 7" Peacock in my tank for almost 9 months, I cant count how many times she smacked the glass on my 20 long (even with my shoes off), which is still running (mantis free now). Personally, i think the whole idea of a mantis shrimp breaking glassis one of those things that spread like wild fire after just one incident......unless you put a 9" smasher in a 10 gallon tank, I doubt you will see breakage.

    Oh wow...this tank is almost six months old now. Wowzers...time flies. And our 46 gallon recently passed 8 months old. They grow up so fast :D

    Hey...I clean the tank like I clean my room...which is...well...ummm...:D

    I'll do a water change eventually. It's a good thing mantis tolerate dirty water lik I do :p Well actually, the water isn't dirty. Because all the algae filters it for me :lol:
