man, you guys make me feel like getting one. but by the time i set one up and have it cycled, the little guy might be gone. Id ask the guy at my lfs to hold it for me while i cycle, but around here they treat them like hitchikers. lets just say his current living conditions are pathetic. I NEED TO RESCUE IT

 

Dude just grab it and buy a small "critter keeper" and put him in the CK with some rubble and such in your fuge' sump or even DT ...... this is what I'm having to do while I finish my matis' new digs, he arrives tomorrow. I'm getting him from a fellow reefer who got him as a hitch hiker

 

That would be sweet..imagine having two 8" mantises (not sure if that's the right plural..) that actually got along haha

Except they're burrowing spearers. BUT, if you could convince them to build a burrow along the glass where you could see inside of it, that would be the bomb. Totally amazing.

 

There's some alright Zebra Mantis videos on youtube.... not nearly as cool to watch as the Peacock Mantis videos though lol.... not saying the Zebras aren't as cool, just that its bad A to watch the Peacocks bash crabs and whatnot.
