should i rinse out the kalk water container every time it reaches empty

 

If you are asking to clean out the precipitate on the bottom of the container then yes... It binds out phosphates and many other random molecules in the water so it is best to wash out this stuff each time.

 

I clean mine out once every 6 weeks or so. basically when it gets close to the feed line of my reservoir.

I mix mine twice a day and add about 3 tablespoons every 10 to 14 days. I usually take the reactor out twice a year and clean it. Most of the solution will get mixed up if you leave it in there long enough.

 

I only cleaned the precipitate out every few months when it got excessive and I had to worry about it getting into the feed pump. There's no problem with it just sitting in there though that I'm aware of.
