I would like some opinions on how i dose my Kalkwasser. I add one teaspoon of kalkwasser dissolved in 15 ml of vinegar to my 5 gallon ATO. I use the vinegar to help dissolve the Kalk not as a carbon dose. My water parameters are: Ph 8.10 Alk 7.7 Cal.440 Mag 1360. My tank is a 75 gallon with a 2 SPS corals , 4 Lps corals and 3 Zoas. I currently have 2 fish: diamond goby and black saddle clown. I've been using Kalk this way for 2 months. All my corals are growing. I also run GFO/Carbon in a BRS reactor.

Levels look good so it seems to be working for you. That's the exact same way and formula I use for my biocube and has been going well.

The article says use 1/2 tsp.

I use about 2tsp a day, and don't use vinegar.

I'm going to try the vinegar.
