The Kamihata Fanneruakki 70w HID aquarium lamp hit Japan's shores on October 23rd and is quickly spreading among our lucky Japanese aquarists. At over double the wattage (78.8 watts) of the WavePoint/AXY-X35 HID lamp, it easily will light up average size reef aquariums such as the cube tank shown further down. This beautiful aluminum spot light has a few color temperature options: 8000k, 10000k and 20000k and comes with a timer built into the ballast. The optional light diffuser is a nice option too. The Fanneruakki is selling for between $322 -$455 USD.
