    you mean mangrove?i've seen a few tanks with it as a filter.

    I've heard people swear by them. Apparently they're better than the macroalgaes.

    You need to spray them with RO water almost daily cause they are use to very humid enviroments, if you dont, they wont last very long.

    study up 1st.you can't just toss them in and have them live.its hard to grow them if they don't already have roots.they can go in fresh or salt water but have to be aclimated to a switch slowly.if your trying to stunt them you have to keep at least one leaf or they die.their supposed to work great but not many use them so you may have to do alot of your own research.

    They do tend to leach a lot of Salt out of the water. Also they are not as good at exporting nutrients as Cheto or other Macro Algae but you can't deny the cool factor

    hmmm that`s true . when the leaves fall can also bring the salt out of them !

    they actually have 1 leave that will eventually die as it exports all the organics from water inside of it and drops it off to rid itself of them, quite amazing.
