    When you see a post you like (helpful, funny, etc), click on the scale icon to give the poster karma. Other members can do the same for you.

    Go to the home page and scroll down to "Your Rep Power" on the right side of the page; that's how much karma you give someone else.

    It's mainly just for fun and does not reflect experience level.It's a little "reward" you can give others when they help you with a question or problem or even said something that made you laugh.The higher your karma gets the more you can give out.To give karma to someone,you just hit the little fishscale button in the lower left of thier post.To gain karma,jump in and chat,help where you can,etc.;)
